alma,

receber honras,
mas em merecê-las."
(Aristóteles)

DEZ PASSOS PARA SE AMAR
Por Louise Hay

1 - Parem com toda a crítica
- A crítica nunca muda coisa alguma.

A autocrítica deprime o espírito interior.
A exaltação o edifica.

9 - Trabalho do Espelho

10- Façam-no Agora

Shamanic essences

©Lynx Greywolf
Essences seem to me to be a natural outgrowth of shamanic teachings and process. Cultures around the world have relied on Sacred Plants as well as Animal/Nature Spirits to help both their Shamans and others achieve altered states of consciousness in order to bring healing to all members within their communities. Yet since many of these Sacred energies can be dangerous for use by a novice, essences of these energies help us to achieve the "Spirit" of this path in a safe, gentle and effective manner.
Our culture has forgotten how to be supportive of our natural Shamans and Healers. The essences described below will help those born to this path as well as those who are seeking to connect with their own "Inner Shaman" to find the courage and strength to follow the Shamanic path and return Shamanism to its rightful place of honour and respect.
Morganite:The Shaman's stone, Morganite encourages us to take full responsibility for our personal reality and life experiences. This essence centers us in the heart so that we may make choices based on what we LOVE and KNOW is right for us rather than following the dictates of another. Morganite calls in the presence of our allies and totem energies for manifestation and healing. Use this essence while in a medicine wheel to align positive forces to manifest your intent. Morganite also helps to lighten the Shamanic path for those who find it dark and heavy. It reinforces the true power of the Shaman, which is to be a channel of healing for his/her community.
The Shaman's Crystal:This essence was produced from a extremely powerful double terminated Quartz Crystal. When using this essence, it is very important to set an intention, visualizing the energy of what you desire to manifest shooting out from your solar plexus chakra, connecting with spirit and then returned to you amplified and manifested. Be sure you really desire what you are asking for you will get it. It is best not to use this essence more than 4 times per day. Putting faith and knowing into the process greatly speeds up the results of manifestation. Be grateful for the result before it manifests physically.
Dream Time:Use this essence to understand that we are both the dreamer and the dreamed. This essence helps us to hold a positive focus so that we may dream a new reality into being. It helps us to drop the busy "doing" in our lives, and rely more on our divine ability to become what we desire.
Bear:This is the powerful energy of the cave, going deep within Mother Earth to renew and heal the self or to transmit healing to another. Bear is a powerful ally who offers protection and guidance during stressful situations or to resolve long-standing problems in which you feel locked in and can't find a way out. Bear teaches us how to be silent and still so that we may receive higher guidance and inspiration. Bear also teaches us how to meet all of our needs from within so we never have to go without. Through Bear, we learn to access the guidance of Shamans who have walked this path before us, and have many gifts to share if we will but receive them.
Drum:The heartbeat of the Earth, use this essence to travel safely between the worlds to access higher guidance, receive healing, connect with your allies to create a strategy for the manifestation of goals, or to ease the initiation of yourself or another onto the path of Shamanism. This essence is very grounding for the body so that your Soul is able to move freely throughout all the levels of the universe as you are ready to do so. When the journey is over, this essence guides the Soul safely and gently back into the body, so that the body may also assimilate the wisdom of the higher planes and thereby increase its vibrational level. This essence is especially helpful when combined with Bear to attract higher guidance and practical solutions. Our knowing is already right within us; we just need to remember that we already know the solution.
Spirit Rattle:This is a wonderful essence for turning up old, limiting energies in the mind, body, and soul. It assists in opening you to be a clear channel for the universe so that all of your journeys, be they on the physical plane, or other levels of reality, are safe and abundant. This is also an excellent essence for those who are in the process of releasing negative thought patterns in favor of positive ones.
Wolf:A powerful essence for those who are ready to be the leaders of the new age that is now manifesting. Wolf essence is highly protective of those who are realizing their strengths and abilities to bring about higher changes in the world. Use this essence when you need to move ahead of your "pack," to scout the safe path and bring knowing back from your journey to share for the highest good of all.
Raven:An amazingly powerful essence for inducing altered states of consciousness safely and gently, to access healing for oneself or another. For those who know they are journeying, but are unable to retain conscious knowledge of what occurred, or who seek greater detail of their journey, this essence is invaluable.
Owl:Owl sees and knows the truth. It's ability to navigate through the darkest night and bring back nourishment for itself and others is the foundation of this essence. When you have lost your way, Owl essence will guide you back to your proper path and wisdom.
Pink Quill:Originally, this research essence was to be included with our flower essences. Since then, it has proven itself to be quite a shape-shifter! It adapts itself to the need of the person using it, so there is no one single definition or characteristic of this essence. If you need it, you'll know it, because it will call to you loudly and persistently!
Medicine Wheel:The essence of strength and healing, Medicine Wheel provides courage, protection, and guidance from our allies and totem animals. When beginning work with a new ally or totem, this essence helps to insure that we contact only the highest aspect of the energies involved.
Ghost Dance:The Ghost Dance was visioned by the Shaman Wovoka to assist his people in remaining connected with their ancestors after the coming of the Europeans to Turtle Island. This essence assists us in connecting with the wisdom of those who went before us, as well as clearing dysfunctional family patterns and belief systems.
Walkabout:A delightful essence to get us moving in the direction of our highest goals. It encourages detachment from all that weighs us down, or holds us back, so that we may journey freely as spirit wills, whether on this level of reality or another.
There is no doubt that our planet and all of life is in need of healing. Shamanic essences can help to restore the balance that has been lost, for when we seek to bring balance into our lives as individuals, we shall help to bring balance to the entire planet. So many are seeking transformation and positive change at this time, and it is so perfect that the Sacred Energies that Shamans and Healers round the world have called upon for thousands of years are now returning to contribute their gifts to all of life once again.

Shamanism and Commitment

In this special issue of Vibration Magazine, you'll meet several experienced shamans and learn about their work. You may even have been drawn to this issue because you yearn to become a shaman yourself. Below, a panel of experts advises you of important principles for novice and intermediate students to be aware of and to heed. First, however, it would be good to define what a shaman is. Inputting the term "shamanism 101" into Google's search engine produced a variety of excellent and sometimes eye-opening articles -- you might try the exercise! Here's how a well-balanced and comprehensive article at Wikipedia defined it:
"Some anthropologists and religion scholars define a shaman as an intermediary between the natural and spiritual world, who travels between worlds in a state of trance. Once in the spirit world, the shaman would commune with the spirits for assistance in healing, hunting or weather management. Shamanism is based on the premise that the visible world is pervaded by invisible forces or spirits that affect the lives of the living. Shamanism requires specialized knowledge or abilities. It could be said that shamans are the experts employed by their communities. Shamans are not, however, often organized into full-time ritual or spiritual associations, as are priests." (See the rest at Wikipedia.)
Surveying what experienced shamans from a variety of traditions have to say, one truth emerges. Shamanism requires commitment -- often a lifelong commitment. It's not something you dabble in like a Ouija board -- shamanic work evokes forces that are too powerful for that to be safe without careful preparation. Nor is it recommended that you engage in the shamanic equivalent of a series of one night stands. If you include a smattering of exotic native practices from around the world in your ceremonies without thoroughly understanding the spiritual background and mastering the disciplines behind them, the result is likely to be neither safe nor effective.
Yes, there are common threads among the traditions, and, yes, you may need to explore a few possibilities before you find the one that fits you best. Then it's best to make a commitment to one tradition and stick to it. Rituals and ceremonies should not be eclectic, as lack of focus, mixing too many elements and invoking too many guiding forces can produce a muddle -- or a bit of territorial dispute between the spirit forces involved, since different traditions can have very different viewspoints and underpinnings. These forces are more likely to pay attention to your invocation and be willing to work with you if they know they have your loyalty and commitment -- and if you have paid them due respect.
COMMITMENT TO PLANT OR ANIMAL SPIRITS
Working in partnership with the spirits of plants and animals is a case in point. A power animal is not a pet, it is an ally in healing yourself or others, and it deserves to be treated with honor. Likewise, the most powerful work done with plant spirit medicine usually involves a deep and long-standing connection with a few well-chosen plants. Here's what Stephen Buhner has to say about forming this sort of bond in Sacred Plant Medicine:
"Go and sit by the plant and just let yourself admire it and enjoy its beauty. Let yourself fall in love with it. In making relationship with plants, the most important thing is treating them as equals; the second is having proper ceremony (like prayers and offering tobacco); the third is receiving the communication of the plants (it must be a dialogue not a diatribe); the fourth is doing what the plant asks of you; and the fifth is never violating the bond of trust between you and, if you should happen to violate that bond, making it up (as you would in hurting any close friend) immediately."
COMMITMENT TO A TEACHER
Commitment to a teacher is also an important stage in the development of shamanic practice. Work with someone who is experienced in these matters and can both instruct you and evaluate what is happening to you. Guidance by a true and seasoned shaman not only accelerates your growth but protects you from many of the pitfalls and dangers these practices can entail. Choose your teacher wisely and well, however, because there are many unqualified or even fraudulent people around the New Age circuits -- those called "plastic shamans". A Wikipedia article explains the term:
"The phrase plastic shaman is a pejorative colloquialism used for individuals who try to pass themselves off as shamans or other traditional spiritual leaders, but who actually have no genuine connection to the traditions they claim to represent. Rather, plastic shamans use the mystique of these cultural traditions, and the legitimate curiosity of sincere seekers, for personal gain. This exploitation of students and traditional culture can involve the selling of fake "traditional" spiritual ceremonies, fake artifacts, fictional accounts in books, illegitimate tours of sacred sites, and often the chance to buy spiritual titles. People who have been referred to as "plastic shamans" include fraudulent spiritual advisors, seers, psychics, or other practitioners of non-traditional modalities of spirituality and healing who are operating on a fraudulent basis.
"Critics of those who have been called plastic shamans believe one danger is that students who come to learn from plastic shamans may be exposing themselves to physical, as well as psychological and emotional risk. This is because the methods used by a fraudulent teacher may have been invented, "adapted" or stolen from other cultures and taught without reference to a real tradition, or to the precautions such a tradition would normally have in place in regard to sacred ceremonies and guidelines for ethical behaviour. There is evidence that fraudulent and sometimes criminal acts have been committed by a number of these imposters. It is also claimed by traditional peoples that in some cases these plastic shamans may be using corrupt, negative and sometimes harmful aspects of authentic practices."
COMMITMENT TO A HEALING GROUP OR PARTNERSHIP
Once you are seriously involved in shamanic work, a commitment to a shamanic or healing partnership -- even to a group that practices together -- is a crucial support that both protects you and empowers the work itself. Diana Stone, a seasoned shaman who incorporates Huna and Native American traditions into her healing work, advises:
"I experienced one of those moments in the early 1980s that one never forgets. I had deliberately sent out an intention to discover my soul purpose in this life. An incredible numinous figure appeared in a vision and revealed that I was to reawaken the Western shaman in the American psyche. Mind you, I had only the vaguest notion of what that meant. Troubling visions of dining on monkey meat around a jungle fire assailed my consciousness.
"Nearly thirty years later, that prophetic vision has proven to be true. I serve a worldwide shamanic healing ministry. The familiarity with the idea of shamanism in the American culture has surpassed by far any expectations I originally held. The positive aspect of this is that I and other non-native shamans have developed tools that are distinctly Western. The downside is the lack of any long-established traditions to train and protect the practitioners.
"I strongly admonish anyone who intends to practice as a shaman healer to not work alone. Ideally, there should be a balance of masculine and feminine energies in the group, as there is strength in the polarities. I work with a team of experienced shamans -- my husband, Don, my brother Duane, and my son David. This craft by definition deals with very powerful and varied energies. It is reckless and foolish not to have back-up. Connect with a teacher of proven integrity, other experienced shamans or energy workers. It needs to be someone who can monitor your energies and keep them clear. I have had the task of healing some very powerful shamans who literally were in a life threatening situation stemming directly from their healing work. You can't help anyone if you are dead!"
SOME FINAL CAUTIONS
Lynx Graywolf, who created the Shamanic Essences, concludes:
"I always hope that people take these sorts of cautions seriously, for there's no path to 'instant enlightenment'. If there was, I would have been on it a long time ago myself! Unfortunately, what some people don't seem to understand is that there is great potential for physical harm, including insanity or death, from consuming many of these sacred plants without proper supervision and training. Also, they're unlikely to be able to interpret and put to good use the experiences they have after consuming the physical energies of these plants. Most people don't have the benefit of a 'local shaman' to undertake a healing journey such as this with them!
"This is why Shamans undergo such demanding training for many, many years! On every level, from the physical to the spiritual, they have to be prepared and ready for what ever it may be that they encounter. Every Shamanic Journey is potentially risky, and that risk is greatly compounded when someone is using Sacred Plants, even for those who have had the training and experience! The essences are a gentle and respectful way of approaching these energies. Working with them acknowledges that one is willing and ready to heal on some level without putting one's self at risk, and also not showing disrespect to the Sacred Plant involved by not really understanding or knowing what one is doing."

- Capricórnio: ametista, cornalina, turmalina verde, rubi e safira

No way.

A estrada é longa e o tempo é curto. Quanto menos a gente errar, melhor.

Visualization tecniques

Opening to Higher Energy
Try these visualization techniques to tune in to your life force, and to uplift the energy of others.
By James Redfield, Michael Murphy, & Sylvia Timbers

Excerpted with permission from "God and the Evolving Universe," published by Tarcher, a division of Penguin Putnam.

Visualizing Energy

After choosing a serene outdoor setting, sit down, close your eyes, and relax your mind and body. Now open your eyes and look at your surroundings. Intend to see more beauty and luminosity in the forms around you. Then close your eyes again and intend to see everything in its quantum reality, as dancing patterns of energy, each emanating from the same energetic source. Affirm that you are intimately connected with this energy, as though all the universe is part of you looking through your eyes. Breathe this higher source into your own body and mind.
Now stand up from your center, attempting to feel this constant, ever-renewing power. See yourself filled with it and floating up. Move as though rising from your center, affirming that you have an unlimited source of energy emanating from the core of your being. Carry this feeling with you for the rest of your day.

Uplifting the Energy of Others

In a group setting, attempt the following exercise, which demonstrates and builds on the higher connection that exists between us all. As each person speaks, visualize a stream of energy flowing from the Transcendent through you to the one who speaks, raising them into greater alignment with their own higher potential and source. Notice any difference in what is said or in their general demeanor.

This practice can also be attempted when all group members are committed to performing this technique. While one person talks about an issue that is important to them, the others visualize him or her being filled with energy and lifted into their greater wisdom and knowing. After each person has taken a turn, discuss the experience.

Silent Intervention

It is also possible to help strangers or passing acquaintances through telepathic outreach. One can do this in a restaurant or store, for example, when someone sitting or standing nearby, or someone serving you, seems depressed or upset. As in the exercise described above, lift the person in your imagination, bringing power from a higher source through you to them. See if their mood or attitude changes. Note how they react to those around them. You might be surprised at the results.

Exercise For Forgiveness and Letting Go

by William York

Many times our less positive past experiences can seem to be
overwhelming and create a less than balanced experience in the present. This
healing meditation is designed to allow you direct access to the energetic
component of all of your past experiences and allow you to not only
gain the benefit of forgiveness, but give you the opportunity to let go of
the past. I highly recommend that you work on only one experience at a
time. If you are working on numerous experiences with a particular
individual I suggest you work on only one experience at a time. Please read
this entire meditation through several times before beginning. If at
any point you feel very uncomfortable during the meditation you should
not continue.

It is important that before starting that you find a quiet, comfortable
place to sit/lay where you will not be disturbed for at least 45
minutes. I find it helpful to take a good hot shower (not a bath!) before
starting. Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. It is best to wait at
least three to four hours after eating before beginning. I find that
this meditation is really best done in the early evening. After finishing
you will need a good rest. You may wish to skip dinner altogether and
to have someone else (if possible) have some soup ready for you when you
are done. It is important that after finishing that you allow yourself
at least 2 to 4 hours of rest. You will have transmuted a great deal of
energy and your physical body will be tired. Also, while you will have
made substantial progress in healing, the rest will allow you to not
revisit the issue for several hours. When you awake you will notice a
substantial clearing of energy in regards to your issue.

You will always be able to go back to the experience but you will have
the strength to see it in a new light. However, once the issue is
resolved I highly recommend that you just let it go. See it for the learning
experience that it is and move on in gratitude.

This process is not about judging or blaming others. This is a very
powerful meditation and the energies at work here are very real. Judging
or blaming others during this meditation will only prolong your healing
and make it that much more difficult to release these energies in the
future.

1. While sitting in your meditation place pick an issue. It is probably
best to pick a simple one until you are familiar with the process. For
most people the first time the issue usually picks itself.

2. If you have a standard practice to begin your meditation that puts
you in a relaxed an open place you can use this to begin.

3. Now begin to focus on your breathing. Follow the in and out breath
without attempting to control the breath. Do this for 8 to 10
repetitions.

4. Next we will do a series of affirmations in conjunction with the
breath work. It is important to focus on the energy connected with these
affirmations as you are breathing. The first part of each affirmation is
the same and you will repeat the words on the in breath. The second
part of each one is different and you will repeat it on the out breath.
All three are done in order and the order is repeated each time. You
repeat the affirmations in order 1, 2, and 3 and then start at 1 again. Do
the affirmations for about 15 minutes.

* (in breath) I Am
* (out breath) Whole and Complete
* (in breath) I Am
* (out breath) As God created Me
* (in breath) I Am
* (out breath) Completely Safe

5. Now you will want to focus on the experience that you chose at the
beginning. It is important to remember that this time during this
experience you are in complete control. Now begin to replay the experience in
your mind. Focus in a very clear and objective way on the
conversation(s) you had and as best you can remember what each of you said.

6. When you finish replay only your portion of the conversation. If you
see (and you will) places where you treated the other person unfairly,
were rude, or just went on a relentless attack you will want to
sincerely offer an apology and ask for forgiveness. Prepare the content of
your apology and imagine placing it inside a beautifully wrapped package.
Take this package and place it front of the person (in your mind). Bow
three times and each time say I am sorry. Then leave. (Again in your
mind) You are not concerned with what happens to the package or what they
do with. Your focus should be on making a sincere, no strings attached
apology.

7. Take a few minutes to breathe and repeat the affirmations for 1 to 2
minutes. You just want to recompose for the next step and not lose
momentum.

8. Now replay their portion of the conversation. This time be
absolutely quiet. Try to forget your original reaction. It sometimes helps to
see yourself as an uninterested third party taking notes. Listen very
carefully. Now replay it again and focus on the point the other was trying
to convey. Think about how you would convey the same point. When they
are finished thank them for sharing in the most sincere way you can. Now
ask them if there is anything else they would like to say. Very often
you will receive a great deal of insight into your relationship(s) at
this point. So, Listen carefully!

9. Next you need to imagine their entire conversation as a whole piece.
Allow the conversation to take whatever energetic form that seems
appropriate. Remember you are not being attacked here but merely listening
to what was expressed without any judgment.

10. While looking at this energetic package begin to watch your
breathing and repeat the affirmations. When you are ready you need to allow
this package to fully enter your heart center. Continue to breath and
repeat the affirmations. Very soon you will experience a deep sense of
peace. When you do look into the eyes of the person and say:

11. I have fully received your wondrous gift. Thank you for taking the
time to share your wisdom with me.

12. I am most grateful for your gift, but it is no longer something I
need.

13. Now look deeply into your heart center, repeat the affirmations,
and allow the energy you received to turn into pure love and light. Now
repeat these words:

14. I have transmuted your gift into pure love and I joyfully return it
to you in the fullness of love and joy

15. Now imagine that this new gift of love is flowing from your heart
center to theirs. When the transfer is complete say:

16. I am honored to have shared this learning opportunity with you. May
all beings be blessed by the love we have shared today.

17. Thank them again and return to your heart center. Focus on your
breathing and begin the affirmations again. Do this for about 3 minutes or
less. Slowly bring yourself out of your meditation. Stand up, and when
you are ready bow one time and thank the universe for this healing
opportunity.

RELAXAMENTO PROFUNDO

Continue respirando lenta e profundamente, a partir do diafragma.

imediatamente responderá o nome, a profissão, etc. Isto

nós mesmos e maior espontaneidade no agir. Descartando antigos
realmente felizes. E isto, essa busca a nós mesmos, é
maravilhosa e surpreendente.

Dias cinzentos

Fundação do Taoísmo

Segundo a história, ele morreu no ano 517 a.C.
